नया format, adaptive sections, timing, tasks और score scale — सब एक जगह
TOEFL 2026 के अनुसार updatedचारों मुख्य sections रहेंगे, लेकिन experience काफ़ी बदलेगा। Reading और Listening adaptive हो रहे हैं, scores 1–6 scale पर आएँगे, और tasks को real academic communication के क़रीब लाने के लिए update किया गया है।
Reading और Listening multistage adaptive format use करते हैं। पहले part के बाद, अगला part आपकी performance के हिसाब से adjust होता है।
पूरा test लगभग 2 घंटे का है। Reading लगभग 35 मिनट, Listening 36 मिनट, Speaking 16 मिनट और Writing 29 मिनट।
2026 से section scores और overall score 1–6 scale पर, 0.5 के intervals में दिए जाएँगे। Transition period में reference के लिए comparable 0–120 score भी दिखाया जा सकता है।
Updated TOEFL में Reading, Listening, Speaking और Writing सबमें ज़्यादा modern और practical formats आए हैं। जैसे — adaptive Reading, listen-and-respond, interview-style Speaking, email writing, और academic discussions।
Adaptive sections में midpoint check के बाद difficulty बदलती है। यानी Reading या Listening का दूसरा half आपकी असली level के ज़्यादा क़रीब होगा, पूरे test में fixed नहीं रहेगा।
Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing — इसी order में। Sequence पता होने से pacing और हर section की strategy बनाना आसान होता है।
