Dr. Samuel
We have been discussing how governments respond to climate change while protecting economic stability. Policies such as carbon taxes and strict emissions rules can reduce pollution but may raise costs for companies and consumers. Some economists argue that strong rules are necessary now, while others worry rapid restrictions could slow growth and hurt workers. Should governments prioritize aggressive climate policies, or should they move more gradually to protect the economy?

I support stronger climate policy because delaying action can make future damage much more expensive. If governments use tax revenue to support workers and invest in clean technology, environmental rules can push companies to innovate instead of simply punishing them.

I prefer a gradual approach because sudden restrictions can raise prices and make some industries cut jobs. Climate policy is important, but governments should introduce changes in stages so communities and small businesses have enough time to adjust.
